Poggiovalle

An ancient Estate surrounded by 1,000 hectares of uncontaminated countryside, located in Umbria with a view over Tuscany.

Poggiovalle is located in Umbria, near Città della Pieve, overlooking the Tuscan hills.

It is a place where time passes slowly and allows you to rediscover the joy of a walk in nature, the contact with animals, and bygone flavours: an experience that you will take with you for a long time.

You can stay in detached houses, each with its own private garden, located in two ancient villages in totally natural surroundings in Valdichiana.

Until the end of the '60s the village had about 1000 inhabitants who worked mostly from sharecropping and who lived in these houses with their families.
Subsequently, the whole estate, formed by two nuclei (Borgo Belvedere and Borgo Granaro), was transformed into a tourist accommodation facility to allow everyone to fully enjoy the Umbrian countryside.

Apartments for couples, families or groups of friends, swimming pools, an equestrian centre, restaurant and much more: the Poggiovalle estate covers more than 10 square kilometres where you can go for walks in the woods, trek or cycle along over 30 km of trails, visit the farm animals, taste the outstanding Umbrian and Tuscan food and wine as well as the Poggiovalle’s own brand products, which are made on the estate.

Above all, you can relax, enjoy the wide open private spaces, and forget your problems and the daily grind, discovering the value of time, silence, the great outdoors life and your loved ones.
